I know I am very overdue for pictures but I do have some breaking news....
Baby Kake's (pronounced Baby Cakes) crawled for the first time today.
On my birthday she started talking. Well, really it was babbling and mostly DaDa but hey, I think she was meaning to say MaMa and simply got confused.
Then on Tuesday morning, July 2nd, I walked in to YET AGAIN finding her doing something new in her crib. The child was standing up. I swear she has stage freight for doing anything new in front of us. She had freaked herself out because she hadn't figured out how to get down from standing so she was screaming at the top of her lungs.
So, there you have it, started talking, pulling to standing and crawling all in one week. Oh, boy am I going to have my hands full with this one. Thankfully I have two very good helpers and coaches by my side who can commentate on every move.
